Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) war einer der emblematischsten Komponisten des Übergangs vom 19. zum 20. Jahrhundert.

 

Er schuf eine eigene Welt aus einzigartigen Farben und Klängen, die viele moderne Komponisten und Künstler inspirieren wird. Zur Feier des 150. Geburtstags dieses großen Meisters versammeln Tamara Atschba und Louise Chisson die Künstler von Esperus auf der Bühne des Ehrbar Saals zu einem großartigen Abend, der ganz der Musik von Ravel gewidmet ist. 

Mit seiner Musik spricht Ravel die Menschen an, er erzählt märchenhafte Geschichten, und in der Natur, in den Legenden und im Leben der Tiere schöpft er seine Inspiration. Auf dem Programm dieses Abends steht eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Werken, die zum Teil noch nie zuvor zu hören waren, ob für Streicher, Klavier oder Ensembles. Und durch dieses von uns ausgewählte Potpourri und das Talent der Musiker hoffen wir, Sie in das Meer der Klänge von Maurice Ravel eintauchen zu lassen.

​​Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) was one of the most emblematic composers of the transition from the 19th to the 20th century. He created his own world of unique colors and sounds that has inspired many modern composers and artists. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of this great master, Tamara Atschba and Louise Chisson are gathering the artists of Esperus on the stage of the Ehrbar Hall for a magnificent evening entirely dedicated to Ravel's music. 

With his music, Ravel speaks to people, he tells fairytale stories, and he draws his inspiration from nature, legends and life of animals. The program of this evening includes a varied selection of works, some of which have never been heard before, whether for strings, piano or ensembles. And through this potpourri selected by us and the talent of the musicians, we hope to immerse you in the deep sea of Maurice Ravel's sounds.
